Hello and welcome to my little corner of the world!  I've been working on my family tree for many years now and  I am "addicted" to genealogy.  There are a few proud moments that I have with my website, including, an individual was able to identify her grandfather from my website and had the opportunity to meet him for the first time.  And, I am honored to have my website placed 2nd in a popular genealogy magazine, Family Tree Magazine.  Although I must admit, my favorite part is "meeting" relatives from all around the world!  One of the best treasures is finding a distant relative who is connected to our tree. When I'm not researching or connecting with others, I work full time as a Project Manager.  I am a certified Project Manager Professional from the Project Management Institute.  I am also working to finish my college degree, it's a personal goal of mine and I am very determined to see it through.

I've also enjoyed putting together my website, it's a constant work in progress.  I've listed everyone in my tree online and for those that are still living I've "privatized" their information so only their names appear.  I have quite a bit of additional information on those who are alive and have passed on, however, I have chosen not to put the information on public display.  Let me know if you have any suggestions for improvement to my website.  A special thank you to my friend, Tim Braun for creating my flash page!

There are a few interesting individuals in our family tree, such as Porter McKeever, the first President of the United Nations and who also worked closely with Adlai Stevenson.  Erik, my step-son, has written an essay on him that you can find on the McKeever page.  Another interesting person is Samuel Andrews, he was a Loyalist during the American Revolution in North Carolina and then settled in Yarmouth County, Nova Scotia, Canada.  An essay about Samuel can be found on the Andrews page. Robert Burns Lindsay, was the Governor of Alabama in 1870.  Robert's daughter, Maud Lindsay, was the founder of the first free kindergarten in Alabama and a children's book author.  She was also very good friends with Helen Keller.

I wish you luck in search of your family roots and thank you for visiting my website.
